Continuing Education 2018-02-23T17:48:55+00:00

The License Act requires all licensees to complete 14 hours of Mandatory Continuing Education during each 2 year renewal period, it also requires those that wish to activate their inactive (in escrow) license to complete 14 hours of Continuing Education in the 2 years prior to submitting the re-activation application.

ALL LICENSES EXPIRE THE LAST DAY OF MAY 2018

One can also satisfy the requirements by taking a qualifying 15 hour Broker Credit course. Please check under the course schedules tab then click on Broker Credit

Review of Basic Real Estate Concepts and Practice

This course will satisfy 7 hours of Continuing Education for all licensees and is REQUIRED for those whose license was issued after December 1st 2015. It will satisfy all licensee’s requirements for 3 hours of Rules and Regulations.
Evenings 2 part session 6-9:30pm also satisfies the 7 hours.

Agency Misconceptions and Often Violated Regulations

This course will discuss Agency and Agency Relationships, with an emphasis on most-misunderstood concepts.  We will also discuss the Rules and Regulations that most often are violated.  This course is not acceptable for those whose license was issued after December 1st 2015.  This course will satisfy both the 3 hours of Rules and Regulations and 4 hours of NAR Ethics requirements

Completing and Explaining Contracts.

This course will explore contract law, and have a thorough discussion of the PAR Exclusive Right to Sell Contract, The Buyer’s Agency Contract, and the Agreement of Sale.  This course is not acceptable for those whose license was issued after December 1st 2015.

An Inside View of Home Inspections

Developed with Joseph Poplawski of Advantage Inspection Service, this course will discuss the ethics and laws governing Home Inspectors, and then get into detail about Wood Destroying Insects, Radon, Water Testing, Septic System inspecting, and more.  Joe will be on hand to guest instruct.  This course is not acceptable for those whose license was issued after December 1st 2015.

Keeping Touch With Social Media

This course will briefly cover the Real Estate Commission Guidelines on Internet Advertising, and then dive in to increasing efficiency with Facebook, Zillow, Instagram, LinkedIn, RPR (Realtors Property Resource).  Korbin Price helped develop the course, and will be a guest instructor. This course is not acceptable for those whose license was issued after December 1st 2015.
